What is this movement called Beyond Potential all about? Glad you asked...
Simply stated, we started BP to build a foundation or voice for Urban Christian artists. By Urban we don't mean "Black Music," as some believe, but simply the style of music, art and culture - an expression ranging from hip-hop, rap & jazz to spoken word, praise & worship and neo-soul. We believed (and still do) that urban-oriented Christan music and it's artists are some of the most underrated and under-appreciated in the gospel music genre. For years we've watched many of us wander from event to event, festival to festival, looking to be heard, hoping to be accepted and to find a safe place to be who and what God created us to be in Christ Jesus. I guess we were simply frustrated with seeing many who were gifted to impact the globe, fall through the cracks, looked over and simply forgotten about...causing many to walk away from music ministry forever. No, we aren't a huge organization. No we aren't the smartest people in the biz...Who are we? We are just two men whose wives and families have given us the grace and support to inspire, motivate and launch people (who feel forgotten) from around the world - into their music destiny!

Brandon Egerton is President/CEO & Co-Founder of Artistic Soul Entertainment/Beyond Potential. He began his career as an intern at EMI Gospel Records in 1999, which led to a nearly ten year stint with the company — primarily as A&R. During his tenure, Brandon was involved in the creation & promotion of over 125 albums released by the label including Grammy, Dove & Stellar award winning/nominated artists: Kierra Sheard, Smokie Norful, V3, Darwin Hobbs, CeCe Winans, Myron Butler, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, Brent Jones & The T.P. Mobb & Antonio Neal. He is also a music/A&R consultant and resides in the Nashville area with his Delicia, his wife of 10 years and their four young children.

Antonio Neal is Co-Founder of Artistic Soul Entertainment / Beyond Potential. He is a singer, songwriter & producer who has worked in the Christian/Gospel music industry for over 12 years contributing to various artists careers including: The Katinas, Stacie Orrico, Kierra Sheard, Joann Rosario and Darlene McCoy, as well as the motion picture soundtrack fo Tyler Perry’s Diary Of A Mad Black Woman. In addition to his finely honed skills as a writer and producer, in 2005 he released his own debut project, Days Of My Life on the EMI Gospel label, giving him a unique first hand perspective of the full spectrum of the creative process and continues to express his ministry of music with his newly released EP, Live Laugh Love. The Grammy nominee and Dove Award winner has been married to his high school sweetheart Sharra-lisa for over 18 years and is the proud father three.
