WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE EVENT?
BPUMG is designed specifically for (but not limited to) anyone involved in the Urban Inspirational music genre. Artists, songwriters, producers, managers, industry personnel, label owners – even those looking to start a career in the business. This event highlights areas and info specific to our genre while also providing broader insight that is relevant industry-wide as well. We're here to inspire, equip and empower you - bringing you knowledge, wisdom and insight from some of the best in the business. Enjoy a relaxed, intimate environment as we challenge you to take your career into your own hands and give you the resources, through relationships that we’ve been blessed with, to actually make that a reality.
HOW IS THIS EVENT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CONFERENCES?
To begin with, everyone’s treated as peers. There are no ‘superstars’ here, you’ll find our speakers and presenters approachable and genuinely interested in helping you enhance your career. Additionally, the music you love to create is the music we love and make a living creating and promoting. Your experience here will be both valuable and relevant. Also, we don’t believe in hype...we won’t insult you by selling you on some pie in the sky dream just to get you in the door. We’re here to help you grow, no matter where you are in your career...if it’s knowledge, wisdom and insight you want – you won’t find a better place for it.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
You may register by visting our event page.
CAN I REGISTER WHEN I ARRIVE?
Yes, you may register on-sight, although we’d highly recommend that you complete your registration in advance to avoid paying the higher on-site rate. See our registration page for more info.
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal. We also accept credit/debit cards, cash and checks onsight.
DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT BY MAIL?
In certain circumstances we may accept money order or check by mail. Contact us to discuss arrangements.
ONCE I REGISTER, THEN WHAT?
Once you complete the payment process, you will receive a confirmation email verifying that you have paid and that you are completely registered for the event. If for some reason you do not receive this email, first check your email’s ‘junk mail’ folder (sometimes it gets filtered there by accident). If that doesn’t work, email us ASAP. We suggest printing your confirmation and bringing it with you to the event to expedite the check-in process.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO THE GATHERING?
Bring a copy of your registration confirmation that we sent via email, business cards (if you have them) and your music/package – if you intend to have it evaluated during one of our music feedback sessions. Also, we’d recommend something to take notes on.
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE EVENT?
We maintain a very relaxed environment. Wear what makes you comfortable for a long period of time. (In other words, your “sunday best” is not required)
ARE THERE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS?
Yes, we do provide a 10% group discount for groups of five or more. Contact us prior to registering to receive a discount code to use.
